China to regulate petfood

The Executive Yuan of China has passed the eighth draft amendment to its Animal Protection Law to regulate petfood products and suppliers, according to The China Post.

The draft states that petfood manufacturers, processors and importers will be under the regulation of the government, have to register their products and provide proof of their products' safety.
