Radio Systems acquires Premier Pet Products

Radio Systems Corporation, home of the "PetSafe", "SportDog", "Invisible Fence" and "Staywell" brands, has acquired Premier Pet Products. Randy Boyd, founder and CEO of Radio Systems, says that "the combined company will be in a strong position to build dynamic value for pet owners through the creation of new product categories." Premier Pet Products has a significant presence in the US market as the maker of the "Gentle Leader Headcollar" as well as the "Easy Walk Harness", "SpraySense" anti-bark collar and "Busy Buddy" treat-dispensing toys. It also offers a wide range of fashion collars and apparel among many other innovative items. Premier Pet Products will continue to operate in Virginia as an independent, wholly-owned division of Radio Systems and service its customers just as before.
