Provimi appoints new CFO

The executive management committee of the Provimi Group has appointed Michel Cup (41) as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and corporate compliance and risk officer (CCRO) as of 1 November. Michel Cup started his career in 1993 as audit manager for Deloitte. In 1999, he joined Royal Numico and held a number of financial positions, such as director of corporate accounting & control and CFO Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. He left Numico after it was acquired by Danone at the end of 2007. Before joining Provimi, he worked as financial director of Akzo Nobel.
