New CEO at PPG, Karlie and Flamingo

Dr. Angelika Westerwelle (49) is appointed to become new CEO of PPG – Pet Products Group, a company owned by the Perusa Partners Fond and owner of the well-known pet accessory companies Karlie Heimtierbedarf and Flamingo NV.

The current Karlie-CEO Johannes Verhoog is leaving the company because of personal reasons and will continue his career in the Netherlands.

Dr. Angelika Westerwelle has long experience as CEO of medium-sized production companies. The main focus of her work has been the successful integration of independent companies as well as the strategic and sales-oriented business development. As independent entrepreneur she acts as shareholder of medium-sized enterprises.

In the past she has been CEO of the Weidemann-Unternehmensgruppe in Korbach (Germany) as well as CEO of the global RMG Regel- und Messtechnik GmbH in Kassel (Germany). She has also been a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and AlixPartners.
