The ZooExpo's have been organized in Norway by The Norwegian Pet Trade Organization (NZB) since the start 16 years ago, and 'ZooExpo 2005' (October 8 & 9, 2005) was actually the 8th in the row. The ZooExpo trade show was not large by international standards, covering some 3,000 sqm total, of which about 1,700 was occupied by exhibition booths. However, ZooExpo has been and still is fairly unique in the established importance it has on the national level. Nearly all important importers and wholesalers that operate on the Norwegian market have been devoted supporters and exhibitors all the time since the start, and the vast majority of the pet trade retailers in the country visit the show! This year was an all-time-high in terms of exhibitors as well as visitors. The exhibitor list included 33 companies, mainly wholesalers that are suppliers to the Norwegian market. Under these companies, most of the internationally important producers were presented.
