1 August 2004 is an important day for Flamingo; this marks the day that the company moved to a new and even larger facility. They did not have far to go; the new facility is located at the same industrial park as the old one.

Due to the significant growth Flamingo has experienced during recent years, in terms of product range, market position and number of employees, the time was ripe to search for a building that would make further growth in the near future a possibility. The move supports the company's intention to further develop its market position in France as well as Germany.

Moreover, the logistic process is equipped with an ultra-modern automated system, the benefits of which include a feature allowing all of the orders to be automatically linked to picking and routing processes.

In addition to this move, Flamingo also has set up a full-fledged marketing department that is responsible for ensuring that Flamingo achieves an optimal position and presentation in the market.

This department has since thoroughly adapted the house style and the increasing importance of the internet has prompted the company to focus on its website as well.

Up until recently, the company maintained an exclusively informative site, but because Flamingo also strives to project a more dynamic image and naturally also hopes to serve its customers as optimally as possible, the modified home page now also offers customers an ordering option for all of the company's products. The advantage for the customer is that all of the prices, dimensions, technical details and other important information may be viewed online for all of its products. This internet ordering option is of course fully automated and linked to the logistics process.
